Overview

SPAR, Albania’s leading grocery retailer, sought to elevate its brand communication beyond transactional messaging, focusing on purpose and commitment to its customers. Their 8th anniversary provided the perfect platform. Ogilvy’s challenge: translate this dedication into a compelling campaign.

Our solution, “8 & Beyond,” linked the anniversary with the infinity symbol, visually representing SPAR’s enduring promise of service. This core concept fueled a series of activations, spearheaded by a massive TV campaign and supported by a robust digital presence (OOH, social media, and GDN). The campaign showcased SPAR’s team as “champions” dedicated to delivering the best for their customers.

The campaign culminated in a high-impact lottery, with the grand prize – a Mercedes-Benz – and other awards presented live on Albania’s top-rated Sunday TV show with Ardit.
